Good for coworking, terrible for coliving

Pros: Modern, clean space. Excellent WiFi (best I've experienced in Colombia). Can pop next door for food, a drink, or a dip in the pool. Nice location to get to the marina, beach, etc. The park nearby can be dodgy at night though, beware. Free coffee all day (I don't drink coffee but I know many do). The free breakfast next door is nice. Cons: The A/C only runs 10pm–10am. This is because utilities are expensive in Santa Marta. However, I booked a week here looking forward to being able to work during the day all week in a nice cool atmosphere. The manager said they're lenient in allowing people to use the A/C during the day, but when I asked at the front desk I was told I had to rent a spot in one of the coworking rooms. Was extremely disappointed in that after already paying for a room which is advertised as having A/C. I had stayed at a different hostel nearby and they let me use the A/C all day. Also, the music next door plays late into the night and you can hear it in the rooms here, even with earplugs. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Early in the morning, the cleaning staff will stand right outside your window and talk very very loudly and disturb your sleep. I had to go outside and ask them to be quiet and they still weren't! You will be lucky if you get a lock space under the bed. They are made of wood and most are broken so anyone can easily access your belongings. Overall, I would only use this place as a coworking space and not somewhere to stay overnight.

Bright space with amazing wifi and people

The combination of great coworking space, awesome community, comfy rooms, and the restaurant / bar / rooftop club next door makes this spot a real gem. We ended up staying for a few weeks because we met such awesome people we wanted to spend more time getting to know, and also we were super productive in the bright comfy space with a variety of options for seating and insanely fast wifi (100mb up and down).

We had such a great time in Flamingo Coworking! What we liked the most was being a very complete coworking, great to get work done and with so much amazing nature nearby: beaches, mountains, jungle and Tayrona Park, a beautiful natural Park. Flamingo has many different working spaces: from dedicated desks to couches with adapted desks and even desks to work standing up! We love that. And of course fast and stable Wi-Fi in all of them. It also has a Backpacker hostel next door which can be accessed by a "secret" door. A bar with great social atmosphere and lots of activities: snooker, darts, a small pool, cinema room and more. Totally recommended !!

Hidden gem in Santa Marta

Amazing place in Santa Marta to get some work done. Lightning fast internet, great staff, and dedicated work rooms for when quiet time is needed for a call or concentration. Sociable environment enough to meet other remote workers if that's your thing. Access to a bar, restaurant, and even lodging makes this place a winner in my book. In this area of Santa Marta there was a power outage, but they kept their internet connectivity. Talk about reliability. Whether sitting at a table or lounging on one of the couches, definitely make this your go to spot.

Finally, a place for digital nomads to land in this coastal community! Santa Marta has beach, culture, great food and activities which are all the benefits a digital nomad desires when looking for a space to land for a bit. Flamingo Coworking/Coliving space lands you in the middle of all of the best Santa Marta has to offer while providing a great workspace. The atmosphere is fun while providing high-speed internet and dedicated meeting rooms to get real work done. Flamingo Coworking is creating the best opportunity for anyone that has escaped the life of an office, but needs the secure, dedicated work space and enjoys being surrounded by others while not dealing with the noise and hassles of a coffee shop. The coliving accommodations are roomy, clean, well appointed, secure and comfortable, everything you could want and more. Whether you come for a day pass or stay for a month, you won't be disappointed with the amenities or community they are forming. This is set to be a CoWorking/CoLiving space that is among my favorites!
