My review of La Casa Redonda
29.11.2019There's a great sense of community and collaboration at this co-working space. There's a nice balanced mix of local artists and entrepreneurs as well a digital nomads and remote workers. There are a plenty of places you can work in Medellin, but I chose La Casa Redonda for the community and creative spirit.

Super social, well located place that sometimes forgets it's a workspace.
07.11.2018Pros: Eclectic space with beautiful rooftop; frequent social events; great internet; decent coffee for free; big, well stocked kitchen with lots of snacks for sale; fun, friendly, charming hosts; excellent location. Cons: Uncomfortable chairs and low desks -- i took a cushion for support. Not always enough space for short-termers. Can sometimes be loud and raucaus without much thought for the people working. Frequent dog disruptions. Cold -- take a sweater or two. Good overall -- the best in the area! Could use better seating and make sure loud activities don't eat into people's focused work space. If I return to Medellin, I'll return to la casa.

Amazing people, incredible space!
09.04.2018La Casa Redonda is a very special space next to El Segundo Parque de Laureles. Do you need help finding a laundry service, a stylist, chargers, equipment . . . whatever it is, they will make certain that you find it. The co-founders are committed to ensuring that everyone in La Casa Redonda has a great experience. The other business people in the space are warm and thoughtful. The events (networking, potlucks, and parties) are well attended and lots of fun. You can't go wrong working here, whether it's for a week, a month, or long term. I felt very welcomed here!

Medellin Coworking
20.03.2018Great space and great people with majority of coworkers being Colombian who speak English. They have regular fun nights out on their rooftop terrace and are an inclusive fun coworking crowd. I have been there almost two years and it has been my sanctuary and where my friends are and who I cycle with and also where I have met business contacts and also gone with groups to Carnival. This is a great coworking spot and if I am ever in Medellin I will go there to work. Thanks Casa Redonda it has been a great stay in Colombia - I look forward to coming back.

La Casa Redonda, one of the best work experiences. The place to meet people, socialize and work with the best energy and people.
20.03.2018La Casa Redonda (LCR) is a place where a bunch of young people meet and work to make a change, build a dream, create new rules and scream an statement of youth; all of this with art, creativity, by socializing, communicating and overall creating all kind of spaces where people can talk, learn but also, teach, speak and debate. LCR has an incredible energy that can be felt from the first time you enter the house. There is people from all over the world, so you hear all types of languages and cultures. This creates a multicultural atmosphere that carries respect and fellowship. Also, there are entrepeneurs/coworkers of all kinds: designers (fashion, graphic, 3d illustrators, industrial, etc.), Architects, Lawyers, Film markers, Bloggers, Digital Nomads, Musicians , among others. LCR has a lot of events that help create community, socialize and guides you to learn new things. Events like: potlucks, La Redonda fair, yoga class, handwriting class, political talks with Alponiente (coworkers from LCR), writting workshop, between so many others. Not only with these events but with the variety of spaces, LCR offers a work experience on another level, you can concentrate on what you're doing or relax and have a talk with anyone. If you need an opinion you have an entire house you can ask to, you can also create in the makerspace as they have a lot of tools, there is always someone available to help you. LCR is a place perfectly adequate for working, to know the culture of the city, to socialize and to build new buisness oppotunities. All of this thanks to the founders, that are always around, welcoming you and introducing you to their world. From a local designer, entrepeneur and freelance.

A great ecosystem for working, sharing and learning.
20.03.2018This house is located in the heart one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Medellín: Laureles. Therefore it is possible to find really good restaurants, cafés, and cultural places right at the corner. The house is huge and offers all kinds of spaces to work in; shared table spots, open offices, separated offices, an open kitchen and even a top terrace where social gatherings happen very often and where people get to meet each other and be inspired by the view and the good vibes. There are all kinds of professionals such as architects, designers from all fields, engineers, journalists, musicians, web developers, artists and even lawyers! A complete team for whatever you may develop. There tend to be common values among all "Redondos" such as kindness, trust and gregariousness. Wifi here is perfect, there's always hot coffee for everyone and an ongoing subtle sound of music, laughter, amazement and people rushing all around. It is pet friendly so there is no need to worry about our animal friends. Different activities are offered so co-workers can spend some time together and learn something new; these may include friday potlucks with music and food from entrepreneurial local brands, yoga lessons, calligraphy sessions, town trips, flea markets, conferences from local entrepreneurs, innovators, social catalysts, politic figures and more. Overall it is an awesome place to be in, work, learn, meet great people and grow.

Very cool, friendly and artistic space.
24.01.2018We recently relocated to Medellin and exploring a number of the coworking spaces in town to see which is the right place for us to work based on location, price, cool factor and more. We worked out of La Casa Redonda one day and overall had a very positive experience. The space is an old house (huge) in the Laureles district of Medellin. The house is filled with cool spaces, artwork and cool startups, designers and individuals doing inspiring work. The welcome we received was terrific and they have spontaneous member events which in our day included a yoga class on the top patio which was great. The place has amazing community feel. There are two issues we had with space, first the table where we worked had very, very poor ergonomics in terms of the height of the table and chairs (there was an eclectic mix). Second alhough coworker had listed a free day pass option, La Cada Redonda says they don't offer this option. We happily paid as the rates are affordable.
