Coworking Space: Spaces - Rio de Janeiro, Rua Visconde de Piraja 495 in Rio de Janeiro

I spent about 3 months at this place while in Rio. To sign up I had to pay a hefty deposit but more on that later. Onboarding process? You have to ask for everything. How do I connect to the Wi-Fi? How do I get access to the printer? Can I have a key for the entrance door, please? Entrance by the way, the concierge on ground floor doesn’t speak a word English. Yet the space is trying to have some kind of international vibe. Wi-Fi? Had to install an app to get on to the Wi-Fi, that didn’t work ofcource. The place is “pet friendly”. In Ipanema Spaces terms this means that other guests dogs running around loose, jumping people, barking, shitting, and urinating on the floors without anyone really taking notice about it. As someone else stated, the rooftop terrace is just a smoke pit even though it has non-smoking signs. When leaving I was charged a "cleaning fee" of a significant amount. They could not explain what this cleaning fee was supposed to cover. This place is disappointing at so many levels. Expensive but not premium in any way. Spend your money on a bigger accommodation and have your office at home instead. Ah, almost forgot about the deposit. It took more than a year to have it back in my account. ONE YEAR!

Everything works perfectly, great place to get to know different people and companies, great location.
