Coworking Space: Cohub in Eastbourne

I've been a member of Cohub for several years now and use the space to as an alternative to working from home several days a week. The office is well equipped with very fast wi-fi, several printers and great little communal kitchen area with fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee machine. There are also several meeting rooms which can be booked or used ad-hoc when not otherwise occupied. The space is also ideally located very near to Eastbourne's railway station. The fees are very reasonable and no long term subscription is necessary. The space has a great community feel too, and there are often member organised events, meals and social activities arranged. I would highly recommend this coworking space as an alternative to working from home if you live in or around Eastbourne.

I joined cohub three and a half years ago whilst freelancing, and it's been a boon every working day. The atmosphere is friendly but there's space and quiet to get on with work, it's dead handy for the station when you need to see the client, and the community has always offered great support for work. Theres an active community with fairly regular activities including barbecues on the balcony, cycle rides out to local hostelries, and even the occasional brewery visit. Many of the people using the space are in the digital creative industries (and it's where the local digital Huddle formed https://www.huddledown.com/ ) but there are product designers, health services, construction, and hospitality consultants too. It's a varied community and plenty of opportunity to share experiences with people from different fields. I've worked in a fair few coworking spaces in Brighton, London, and around the world. Cohub isn't an over designed hipster nest (Ok a few very sharp haircuts and very well tended beards might crop up). It's comfortable, well equipped, friendly, and I'm hooked.
