Coworking Space: HIVE ARENA in Seoul

If you are looking for coworking space in Korea, I think it is the first place to consider. I had a wonderful experience at this coworking location. They suggested some places to get a quick cheap lunch, and were really excited to talk about my project. I was glad I could spend a few days here, I am looking forward to return trips just to visit the owners! An easy to get to location, great desks, comfortable chairs, and even had extra monitors for you hook up your laptop to. I'm a traveling artist so having ample table space for my laptop and art supplies is an absolute necessity for my line of work! They also had great coffee!

This is a great place to just show up and start working. The first time I went one of the owners welcomed me and showed me around. You get the coffee and even Dr Peppers access. Everything to keep you up. Good internet speed and plenty of chairs and screens you can just stay using. Great place, very recommended.

I had some work to finish on a freelance project while I was in Seoul and HIVE ARENA was the perfect place for me to finish my work and meet some new people! Everyone who was working was really friendly and helpful. The work station itself was perfect for my needs and I actually hadn't noticed I had more equipment available haha.

The atmosphere is really comfortable. The founders are super personable and are always looking out for their members. They're always looking for new ways to engage with the community. They also host a few of our public meetup events, and everyone who attends talks about how great Hive Arena is. If you're still not sold, check out their Slack team. I have been here just last night for Python coding class. Here, I met awesome people who are ready to do new things. The decoration was fantastic and the people here was so cool.

Do you need to land in a coworking space where you feel warm welcomed, nobody staring at their computers only when you are trying to smile and make a friend? I had so many experiences when I arrived in coworking space and found everyone just too busy with their works and left you wondering how can I make a real gangs in this place? Hivearena is a recommended one if you want to have a community experience when you are landed in Seoul. Hyekyung and Jongjin are great host to welcome you in their space, feel like its your own home while you can focus on your work if you need too. PS : They always have good coffee in the kitchen, this is my favorite part :)

The Hive Arena co-working space is a great place to both work but also to make friends if you are new in the city! They have regular networking events and improvised restaurants / night-out with the other co-workers :)

This is the best coworking space I've been to during my 1+ year of living as a digital nomad. Here I truly felt as the part of the community, could work effectively, made some useful contacts and new friends. What could be better?

Hivearena is not just a place to work. It's a place of real co-work! Besides comfortable facilities, including free beverages, you can meet amazing people. In Korea, the concept of co-working place is rather new. In this burgeoning business area, Hivearena is definitely a leader. Frankly speaking, other co-working space recently appeared equipped better and luxurious facilities. But in my opinion, they understand this business as real-estate business, not co-working business. In this respect, I'm definitely sure that Hivearena is the best co-working place in Korea. PS> I'm working in hivearena for 3 consecutive months.

When I first visited, they have been running the place only for 3 months. Obviously, there weren't many co-workers then but soon the numbers started growing and I have the opportunity to meet some very talented individual thanks to Hive Arena. I would definitely recommend the place if you are ever in Seoul and looking for a place to work and mingle with a bunch of people who actively ask you if you need any help. It has done a great deal for me and I am expecting to visit the place again very soon

Hive Arena is one of my favorite places which is very comfortable and funny. in Hive Arena I meet many different people. Most of them are expert in their field especially IT. part of I really like is what to listen to their story. It's very interesting and helpful.

Great community, friendly people and good location... I stayed more than 6 months with full satisfaction. Although I'm now living little far away, I still often visit. There's a standing desk I bought last year, so if you visit Hive Arena, don't hesitate to use it :)

Hyekyung and Jongjin who run this co-working space have done a great job in creating a lovely environment to work and meet others in. They and everyone I met were so friendly and I can't wait to head back there soon!

I'd coworked several months(almost one year) at Hive Arena, I'd feel comfortable for good friends Jongjin and Hyekyung. They're very interested for Tech for good, and also had nice social networks with good tech guys and ladies, entrepreneurs, and startups in South Korea. I'm an entrepreneur experienced top-tier tech companies, M&A, IPO and exited in South Korea, but they're very helpful for me to find and connect some good partners and social networks.

Hive Arena is the model to which I see other coworking spaces now. They have an incredibly diverse group of people coworking there, and Hyekyung help makes us all feel incredibly welcome.

아티스트이며 크리에이터인 저는 작년 한해를 이곳에서 보낸것 같네요 코워킹 스페이스라는 개념도 이곳에서알게 되었고 덕분에 많은 동료와 만나게 되고 즐거운 프로젝트도 함께 하게 되었습니다. 아직 마무리는 못했지만 kiddly 프로젝트는 꼭 이곳에서 마무리해야겠죠 일단 입구에 들어서면 파란색 잔디가 인상적이고요 이곳 주인장들도 매우 재미있어서 매번 올때마다 즐거운것 같아요. 일단 회사를 나와서 외롭지 않게 일하고 싶다면 이곳이 정말 딱인것 같네요 올해도 변함없이 이곳을 이용하고요.

The Hive Arena is my home away from home. Seoul of course has AMAZING internet and the office is located in Gangnam, one of the best neighborhoods for nightlife. It’s a playful, comfortable, and yet productive environment. It is very accommodating to all of my needs, and I can accomplish significant work while I am there. The co-founders are extraordinarily lovely people that will make you feel like part of the Hive family. They have accomplished a familial environment that I yearn for at any coworking space. I highly recommend this unique space to anyone!

Each time I visit to Hive Arena, I feel so welcomed. The nice hosts, Hyekyung and Jongjin listened to me and helped in many ways. I am still given many helpful advices. They always take care of co-workers and try to connect people working in the same field each other, which is super cool. You will see this place has great people you can communicate with and hang out as well. I love this place. It is worth working here with great people even if it is just for one day.

While I'd stayed about a month, I met a lot of people who were passionated about their product, really liked to talk to each other, didn't hesitated giving feedback in there. I think that's because of the hosts of Hive Arena. They are really kind and careful to all people in there. I recommend it to all my people who stay in Seoul.

Hive arena is my top coworking space in Seoul as a foreigner. In Korea it is really hard to find English speaking people in coworking spaces because sometimes you feel bored and need some people to talk and relax. I'm also fan of their regular events, I had chance to meet with awesome people through these events. Keep up the good work guys.

Hive-arena is a decent coworking space which has both great community and space. Community is consisted of people who has various background, and people are all connected. Furthermore, its location is in the middle of seoul, so you can easily access to anywhere. Highly recommended!

I spent about a week at Hive Arena and the community made me feel at home. Also, they had sufficient seating spaces to choose from. The owners were very friendly and they introduced the different groups and individuals in the coworking space. We also went out for meals several times. They even have a map which showed the different eateries nearby! Not to forget there was a good supply of drinks and snacks. If you feel a little shy to mingle with the rest the community in Hive Arena, there is a Slack channel too!

Founders of this space created a community that encourages meaningful connections. Hive Arena has been a home to many tech professional communities (Seoul Tech Society is one of them), which gives members the chance to network and learn something new. This is the most original and true to the spirit space in Seoul!

Hive Arena is not only decent co-working space but a great community. Its world-wide community is consisted of people who have various background. And they are all connected so you can get many benefit from them. Furthermore, its location is great, there are many beverages, people are all kind, and there are many events. Highly recommended!

제가 하이브아레나를 알게 된 지는 약 9개월 정도가 되어 갑니다. 저는 1년에 24일을 사용하는 멤버쉽을 구매해서 사용하고 있지만, 제 사무실을 하이브아레나 안에 두고 싶을 정도로 이곳을 이용하는 사람들이 정말 좋습니다. 다양한 분야의 개발자, 디자이너, 사업자 분들이 모여 이루는 시너지는 멋진 아이디어를 만들어 냅니다. 물리적으로는 서울 강남에서 멀지 않은 선정릉역에서 도보로 약 5분 정도 거리에 있습니다. 강남역에서는 버스는 이용하면 약 20분이 소요됩니다. 도착해서 제일 먼저 만나세 되는 혜경씨와 종진씨는 친절한 안내와 공간에 계시는 분과 새로운 분들을 잘 매칭해 줍니다. 예를 들어, 코워커가 고민이 있다면 새로운 분들 중에 해결해 주실 수 있는 분이 오시면 소개해 주시곤 합니다. 또는 비슷한 생각을 가지고 있는 분들을 소개해 주시기도 하시죠. 개발자분들이나 노마드라면 한번쯤 들려볼만한 장소라고 생각합니다. 함께 의견을 나누면서 새로운 아이디어를 얻어 갈 수 있는 곳이니까요. 현재도 좋지만 앞으로가 더 기대되는 장소가 바로 하이브아레나입니다.

I have worked from Hive Arena a couple of times, and each time it has been a really positive experience. The owners were really helpful to get me acclimated, introduced me to a few people who were working in the same industry, and we even went out to lunch together on the first day. I immediately felt at home and connected with my new "coworkers." There was a mix of English and Korean being spoken throughout the space, so language was not any problem either. The space itself is simple but nicely designed with chalkboard art on the walls and a very casual atmosphere.
