"My review of Coworklisboa"

    November 2019

Located in one of the best areas in Lisbon (LX Factory - Alcantara), the Coworklisboa as freelancers and startups that welcome everyone as their colleagues. I love the vibe, and the place was really created to improve productivity and connection.

    "Not the best"

      November 2018

I was a member of Cowork Lisboa for around two months. There aren't very many community events so it's hard to get to know people. Unless you pay for one of the fixed desks you're going to be working from a cramped communal table tucked into a dingy corner of the (already pretty dark) workspace. Arrive before 11am or you might not get a seat. Phone calls are difficult: your options are to do it while sitting elbow to elbow with your coworkers or do it in the corridor, which is pretty noisy. The Wi-Fi was also fairly patchy. When I worked there another member used to bring her toddler in every day, so it was pretty noisy with a little one crying: I don't want to sound like a miser but it's not really appropriate for an office environment, especially if you're paying to get away from noisy neighbours like I was. Maybe this was the best space in town when it first opened, but now that there are so many great coworking spaces in Lisbon I'd give this one a wide berth.

      6 Thank Jemma

      "It's not about work anymore"

        March 2018

You don't go to Coworklisboa for the wifi connection you go to Coworklisboa to connect with people. This place is run by a family as a family. Fernando will take care you find what you're looking for and Ana will take care you get what you need. That simple. When you get there you'll understand why it's been going strong for 8 years. They say "it's not about work anymore" and it's not. You do work there (if you want) but most people choose to make it part of their lives not just part of their work. Besides this you get to go to LX factory every day.

        0 Thank Pedro

"Oasis of diversity, house of creativity"

          April 2017

Coworklisboa is an oasis of diversity. But we all blend in perfectly. Anywhere you look you have good people with skills that can be interesting for a project or the development of a new idea. Even the professions that you don't expect to find there, the ones more traditional like mine: lawyer, are welcome. Environment is informal and you have the sense of comfort you find at home, but the space and equipment are professional and give the work you do that dignity. Besides it is integrated in the whole factory spirit of creativity and art making. I enjoy working there. And the coffee is free... :)

It is really a co-working space, where collaboration is possible as well as independence. The owners know what it is to build an maintain a co-working spirit, which is something that cannot be attained by the simple co-work title.

"Cowork Lisboa - A Familiar place"

              April 2017

Community is the key for cowork Lisboa. every one there makes part of a big family. Its really a place for diversity and good conversations. The living areas have the same importance as cowork space, and that's really important, because people can lunch together, play together, or even just have a nap. The confortable environment approach us, and that's why they say: " it's not about work, anymore." It's about trust, communication and courage to turn our dreams alive, together.

              1 Thank Bruno

              "Best cowork in Town!"

                April 2017

The stuff are the BEST!!! Great restaurant!!! The wifi could be better! But the rest is perfect! I highly recomend!! Lx factory is full of colours and cowork is in the heart of the Lx. So many creators and places that make an old factory into a great place to work and to spend some time! You won't find nothing like this spot in the rest of the city! Is really unique! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

                2 Thank Frederico

                "Amazing place to grow ideas"

                  April 2017

After trying several coworks in Lisbon, I was told by a friend to experiment the best one in town. After 5 months here I fully recommend this place if you want to grow your ideas on a family working environment. The location is amazing, the place has all the conditions you need, the team is always available to help you, and "organization culture" is the closest to a family you can possibly get. To top it even more, you have an amazing coffe place where you can have great food and performe great meetings.

                  2 Thank Bruno

                    April 2017

Since 2010 always returning to this amazing coworking space. After travelling the world quite a bit i might ay it is not only a great space, it is the best i visited on all five continents. Great community, relaxed atmosphere, spectacular views, and the attached bar serves great coffee.

                    1 Thank Stefan

                    "Great chilled space"

                      April 2017

Really enjoy working at Cowork Lisboa, everyone has been really friendly and helpful. The space is pretty cool - nice and open plan with lots of desk and plugs, not like an awful office at all! There's good food available and a bit of a kitchen too (5 mins walk and there's tons more places to eat and drink as well). The only small down side was sometimes the internet was a little slow, but it wasn't a major issue at all.

                      1 Thank Victoria

                        April 2017

I visited and contacted several places in Lisbon. A few were slow to respond or did not confirm appointments to get a tour. The team here were quick to respond and made the choice easy after my first visit.

                          July 2016

The pioneer of coworking is still the best when we think about the meaning of coworking. The conditions are good, there are a number of other business and cultural activities in the same location. The community aspect has no rival in Lisbon, and the great team that is there everyday makes sure the coworking experience is always good and rewarding.

"In a cool plaza, good setup, great place to work in Lisbon. "

                            June 2016

If you're in Lisbon, Portugal, definitely check this place out as it's in an awesome plaza full of hipster shops and great restaurants. It's also in a really cool neighborhood a $6 Uber ride away from city central that I'd consider moving to if I became a monthly member of the space. Downsides are: A bit dark as there are only windows on one side and all of the lights were turned off. 90% of the space is fixed desks so there's only around 8-10 seats for day passes. There is a communal kitchen area and lounge to meet each other and gather but no outdoor space. Some of the chairs were worn out and the seatback was broken. The meeting room is super dark, even with the light on. It'll take you a few days or a week to get to know people as it's not super social. There's only one quiet place to take calls or skype, the one meeting room. The Good Parts: It's located in an awesome plaza with cool restaurants and there's a cafe right next to it. They have a meeting room with sound proofing on the walls, great for podcast recording if you can reserve it. Free coffee and water. (really good coffee) Nice kitchen area. Plugs at every table (bring your adapter) Weekly communal lunches to meet others. I was only there for one day, from around 1pm - 7:30pm so I got a decent taste of working from there but I'd need more time to really give it a good review. Overall I'd say it's definitely worth checking out and would be one of the places I'd consider working out of monthly if I move to Lisbon....which I might as I think it's the next Chiang Mai. Listen to Episode 120 of the Travel Like a Boss Podcast for the review of Chiang Mai vs. Lisbon.

                            4 Thank Johnny

"The best place to work :)"

                              June 2016

Me and my husband worked at home with our online store, but with our 2 year old growing it got inpossible to work at home on a full time basis. So we searched for a coworking space in Lisbon. Coworklisboa was our first option and it was the best decision ever. There is this amazing energy between everyone, starting with Ana and Fernando that make you feel at home instantly. Any help you need on your work you can count on them and the great team they have to help you. The space and the people inspires you. Very highly recommended :)
