About Eatontown

Sitting in Monmouth County of New Jersey, Eatontown was originally incorporated in 1873 giving it a long history. It was named after Tom Eaton who was an early settler and the creator of a mill in 1670. Located about 20 miles from Staten Island, it's a small township of only 12,709 folk. You definitely won't have any trouble getting to know your neighbors who have a penchant for meandering around one of its numerous lush parks, either getting up to mischief on a baseball or softball field. You can follow a nature trail to check out the Bliss Price Arboretum and Wildlife Sanctuary if you wish to chat to a peacock or chase a squirrel. Eatontown may not be a tech hub per se, but it does have its fair share of intrepid souls hanging out in coworking venues in collaborative mode.

New Jersey is the state with a legacy of innovation where some of the greatest technological advances were born; think fiber optics, digital cellular and LCD technology, barcoding plus many more. It's known as where scientists and engineers are pushing the boundaries with their innovative ideas that will propel the world into the future of radical new technology from cloud computing to augmented intelligence. In the short period of 2 years there has been nearly 4,500 patents in electrical computing, data systems and information security plus more have been awarded to New Jersey inventors. It's ranked as 1 of the top 5 innovative states in the United States.

New Jersey's tech hub is thriving due to its highly educated workforce of more than 15,000 computer programmers, nearly 41,500 software developers and applications engineers plus 14,370 computer systems analysts. In fact the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area has the largest base of tech sector employment in the country. With this in mind it's little wonder that coworking venues are overflowing with tech savvy folk.
