About San Ramon

A city in the Contra Costa County of California sitting about 34 miles from San Francisco, San Ramon is where you will find the headquarters of 24 Hour Fitness, Chevron, the Global Software Center of General Electrics and many more companies. It's where you can have some fun on the Memorial Day weekend at the city's Art and Wind Festival. Predominantly a residential and urban enclave, San Ramon was named a "Tree City USA" in 2001. It's awash in green parklands, as one would imagine and its "Forest Home Farms" is on the National Register of Historic Places. The downtown area has everything you could want to have a great lifestyle from plenty of boutique shopping to cafes and restaurants for when the hunger pangs strike. Its population is about 75,931 of which numerous individuals are kids attending the University of San Francisco, the Diablo Valley College or the UC Davis Graduate School of Management, if not hanging out in a coworking space getting creative with their peers.
There are a lot of brains walking around the streets of California, as the California Institute of Technology generates more patents than any other university in the United States and the University of California in Los Angeles more startups. In fact, the area has a startup density on a par with many Silicon Valley cities. California is said to offer to the next generation of tech innovators the perfect base to launch startups with its robust university system, access to funding, brainpower and talent, a healthy ecosystem and a great lifestyle where the weather is warm and plenty of coworking venues to keep everyone happy.
