About Pamplona

If you want to outwit and outrun the fierce bulls, Pamplona is the town to do it in. Known as "The Running of the Bulls" during the Feast of San Fermin, this wild and crazy spectacle happens in July every year. A multiday legendary event, dare devil runners try to stay ahead of bulls and their horns thundering through the streets. Pamplona is also a major layover town for those spiritual souls or those trying to test their own grueling strength walking the medieval-era pilgrimage route, known as the Camino de Santiago. An historical city awash in sites to gawk at, Pamplona is now home to coworking venues so that the locals have their own space to mingle and network within a likeminded community.

The former capital of the Kingdom of Navarre and the historical capital city of Navarre, it sits between the Basque country and Aragon with the wine region of La Rioja located to the south. Even Hemingway fell under the spell of this gorgeous town with its beautiful parks and vibrant nightlife, cobblestoned medieval alleys and grand cathedral. Pamplona hosts numerous concerts, dances, photography and arts festivals on an annual basis. There are quaint cafes and bars to squat and slurp coffee or to sip vino, eclectic shopping to be had and scenic trails and tracks for the runner or cyclist.

For the coworking soul that is super into their food, Pamplona's cuisine has been greatly influenced by the Basque Country, so you will find traditional dishes offered beside contemporary fusion food. For a bit of fun after dinner there is a profusion of wine bars, live music venues and nightclubs to haunt. It is only a one-hour train ride if you want to check out San Sebastian, 45-minutes from the French border and 2 hours to the wineries of La Rioja.
