About Loule

Snuggled into the gorgeous Algarve region of Portugal in the district of Faro, Loule is one more stunning beachside location awash in resort hotels and bronzed bodies in the summer months. It has a population of around the 70,622 mark who relish the Festival of White Night held to celebrate the end of summer when the tourists flee and the locals get their town back to themselves. It's the largest municipality in the Algarve that includes towns such as Vilamoura and Quinta do Lago, plus small hidden villages hiding out in the Algarve Mountains. Coworking venues have opened up in this city with its quaint old heart, quirky folk celebrations and buildings to gawk at, from churches to a castle.

This is where you have your choice of beaches to recline on in sun worshipping mode, more golf courses than one can imagine for those who like to hit little white balls with sticks and a swish marina of luxury floating palaces (aka yachts). You can trash your credit cards ad nauseam, dine in amazing restaurants or lurk whilst sipping espresso in outdoor cafes. Right in the middle of the Vilamoura's marine is an amazing Roman archaeological site for the history buffs to wet their pants over and if you need some fresh produce there is the Mercado De Loule to investigate with hundreds of stalls overflowing with food items.

Portugal is rising unshackled from almost half a century of authoritarian rule and is trying to reinvent itself as Europe's leading tech hub. Known for its cheap rents, incredible cultural scene and awesome quality of life, Portugal is promoting the fact that it also has an economy based on knowledge and an entrepreneurial community that is growing by the day. With the advent of coworking spaces, it is not only the innovative locals hanging out in the coworking establishments, but the wandering globe-trotters who tend to linger for far longer than what they planned to. And, when work starts to create brain implosions, there is always one more beach to run to.
