About Muntinlupa

A highly urbanized city, Muntinlupa is nicknamed "Emerald City of the Philippines" by its' tourism body. It's also known as the "Gateway to Calabarzon", as it is the southernmost city of the National Capital Region. Home to the penitentiary where the extremely bad people are locked up, it is also home to Ayala Alabang Village that is one of the country's largest and most expensive residential communities where the famous and wealthy live. Coworking venues have opened up for its creative locals who are over working from home in isolation or in a noisy cafe scene where they have to put up with a waitperson wanting more orders for coffee.

The city of Muntinlupa may not be the tech hub of the country, but it does have its' fair share of intrepid tech savvy youth who wish to stay on their own home ground rather than run off to a huge city. The Philippines has seen an unprecedented rise in the number of new and innovative businesses led by ambitious young entrepreneurs. The private sector is supporting startups with investment, creating incubation programs and providing mentorship. The government has launched numerous initiatives and is laying out plans to foster its startup community. With the advent of coworking venues, it is believed that it will help to create a startup culture.

Coworking in Muntinlupa allows its creative youth to gather en masse in collaborative bliss with other likeminded souls.
