Coworking Space: Input Cowork in Nanaimo

When my colleagues and I started our video production company last year we were doing all of our work from home. For the most part that was fine, but as time went on I found it increasingly difficult to focus on work from home and more importantly to be trying to arrange meetings that needed a proper private boardroom. Working from Input Cowork has been great, and I already feel more productive. I can focus on my work when at the space and be able to relax at home. With 24/7 access I can work late or on weekends, so I can still be flexible with my work hours. With easy to book boardrooms I can have client meetings more frequently and with less hassle. The best part about the space though is the community, with a very creative and tech focus I get to chat and network with people in similar industries. Also there is an Arcade machine and free beer, pretty great!

Full disclosure: I own the building now, but before this my startup spent 3 years renting a private office from this space. The community is awesome. We hired some great teammates from here and made a bunch of friends. When the chance came up to buy the building my partner and I jumped on it. Hoping to keep the good vibes going.

Working at home as a freelancer can get pretty lonely. Input Cowork is a great way to connect with like minded creatives. A clean working environment, super fast WIFI, and interesting events make this space worthwhile.
