Coworking Space: Stockwerk in Vienna

Worked here for a day as they also host events in their open space. I went as they also have meeting (game devs) in their open space below.. there was sharing of lunch and sitting down and chatting with other members in the office. As someone who's been to many coworking place this was refreshing and great to learn about the community

Stockwerk has a really productive work atmosphere while also having a great community. It’s a light and friendly building. Everything you could need is taken care of and you can join lunch (if you want to) pretty much every day. All in all, I’m very happy I found it and can only recommend it!

I've been working at Stockwerk for the past few years, both part time (flex desk) and more recently full time with my own permanent desk and set of keys. The location is good - quite central and very close to the U-Bahn station. I commute by bicycle and Stockwerk has a dedicated indoor bike storage room. The work spaces are generally very quiet and not at all distracting, despite the typical open plan of a coworking space. There is ample space at a desk and plenty of power sockets, plus a lamp. In general the design and decor is well done and creates a dynamic vibe in the space. I generally find myself being very productive working here. One of the biggest plus points for Stockwerk is the community aspect. Lunch times are often a communal affair - there is a regular schedule of external catering and a choice of take-out delivery. These are good opportunities to get to know the other people working here. There's a mix of software developers, writers, photographers, translators and others. I've made some good friends working here. They also host regular meetups in the evenings serving the Vienna tech and other communities.
