Virtual Offices in Jersey City About Jersey City

One of the top 10 artistic cities in America, Jersey City was the hometown of Howard Stern (Beetlejuice), Martha Stewart (business woman and TV personality) and where hip-hop artist "Akon" spent his high school years. It is where you can watch a movie in a palace (aka Loew's Jersey Theater) that has a man slaying a dragon perched on top of the building. Numerous resident ghosts invade various places around town such as two eyes glowing from the tower of St Joseph's Church, a lady in white at the New Jersey Terminal and a specter that appears in the Bergen Tunnel (aka Dead Man's Tunnel).

One of the most racially diverse cities in the world, it is the oldest town in New Jersey founded in 1660. Separated from New York by a little bit of water, it is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the region. Home to many high-tech and banking headquarters, it is an important transportation terminus, distribution and manufacturing center for the Port of New York and New Jersey. It is one of the country's largest downtown central business districts.

There is 127 miles of stunning beachfront and cute little areas to explore and many of the country's most well preserved Victorian mansions (think Newkirk House built in 1690) to meander around, as well as the Goldman Sachs Building to gawk at, as it is one of the top 200 tallest buildings in the world (238 meters). For the bicycling enthusiast, the city is part of the East Coast Greenway Trail connecting it to Florida Keys in a single unbroken bike path to test your stamina.

You will find Cape May on the southernmost tip of New Jersey that was a fashionable resort town of the wealthy during the 18th and 19th Centuries where you can dive into the character of Victorian architecture in the many beachside holiday homes dotted around and the museum, an 18 room mansion built in 1879, Emlen Physick Estate. This is where you can jump on board a dolphin or whale-watching cruise and take a geek at the 80-foot tall schooner "Yankee". You can check out the Thomas Edison National Historical Park or go to the Grounds for Sculpture, a 42-acre museum and sculpture park in the nearby area of Hamilton. You can join the Appalachian Trail from the access point in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area or visit the Millbrook Village to look at some traditional crafts. If you are a budding archeologist, you should go to the Minisink Archaeological Site to see the remnants of a 10,000 year old settlement with the bonus of being able to splash in the water, fish or kayak. Liberty State Park is a must, as is gawking at New Jersey's own Niagara Falls, the Paterson Great Falls.
