What are you working on right now?

I run a Pinterest marketing agency / consultancy, and I also do a bit of community management for a crypto investor group.

What is your current desktop wallpaper? and why?

It’s the plain blue default one! I have so many files it doesn’t make sense to have a nice background image; they’d all be cluttered up. And I always leave apps open so again, I would not see it even if there were something there.

Which book has shaped your life or changed the way you think the most?

Spiritual Enlightenment: The Damnedest Thing by Jed McKenna. If life is but a waking dream, why on Earth are we all taking ourselves so seriously?

How do you start off your day — aka what’s your morning routine?

I check my phone. Then I get out of bed, smile and have a moment of gratitude for being alive, then I get dressed and go downstairs to make coffee and start working. Not really anything too involved!

What is one thing you do to get motivated?

I like the 5 Second Rule (see the book of the same name by Mel Robbins) but I often forget to use it. Another trick is to change my environment – change the room, change my seat, work with my computer on my lap on the couch instead of at the desk in my Roost stand….

What made you smile today?

Waking up to a beautiful view of snowy mountains in my toasty apartment.

What is something you think everyone should try at least once in their life? Or Name one skill you think everyone should have or learn?

Some kind of adrenaline sport – skydiving, bungee jumping, or even just hangliding. Live a little!

What is one skill or hobby you’ve been meaning to learn but haven’t had time for?

Running. Maybe I have time for it but can’t seem the find the motivation!

List 3 simple things in life that make you really happy:

Good coffee, dogs, the internet

What is the best thing that you have done, just because you were told you can’t?

I left high school after 2 years and went straight to community college. Then transferred to UC Berkeley as a 3rd-year student when I was 18.

What is your favourite coworking space and why?

Coworking Bansko – the community they’ve built here, seemingly out of nothing, is quite extraordinary. There were no nomads here before Matthias and Uwe chose this place to open their coworking space.
Coworking Bansko

If you had the opportunity to spend a week or month in another country to be your office of the week/month, where would you go?

Nowhere, I like where I am right now. When I want to go somewhere else I will; no need to dream about it! (I have plans for Georgia soon though; been wanting to go there for a while to eat all the Georgian food!)

Biggest item on your bucket list at the moment?

Antarctica.

As a Digital Nomad/Entrepreneur. If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you have and why?

Coconut water, helicopter and pilot. I hate the tropics!

What was your first job? Has it shaped where you are today?

Babysitting. It made me not want to have kids.

Any advice for your previous boss?

No, he doesn’t deserve my good advice!

What’s your favorite part about coworking?

Always having friends to go to lunch with.

What is your go to pump up song?

The Rocky Balboa theme song

Anything else you would like to add?

I love Coworker.com – especially to discover coworking spaces in new cities when I’m traveling!
