What are you working on right now?
I started this venture TakeABreak Tours in July 2017. Right now, I am only focusing on enlarging my project and making it successful.
What is your current desktop wallpaper? and why?
My current wallpaper is a cloud scenery I captured during the Shri Khand Mahadev yatra in 2016. I always keep my own pictures as wallpapers because my very first priority in photography is landscapes. Moreover, this wallpaper is special because getting to places where you are above the clouds is rare; if it happens, that means the trail was seriously breathtaking.
Which book has shaped your life or changed the way you think the most?
There are many books I have been reading. I don’t carry a deep interest in any specific category of literature; I usually read whatever I get. Preeti Shenoys’ latest book was my most recent read and I have made some very positive changes in my life after reading this book. Jon Krakauer’s book Into Thin Air has motivated me to keep Mount Everest as a target in life.
How do you start off your day — aka what’s your morning routine?
I have no predefined morning routine unless I have to go somewhere or have work to do. I love to work late at night, as there is less disturbance and I can find time to complete a task without getting distracted. Sleeping late and even waking up late is a habit I’ve had going on since my college days.
What is one thing you do to get motivated?
I go and check out blogs of my favorite travel bloggers. I have to work hard to reach the top so that I can be a role model for others as they are for me today. Being positive is the best motivation one can have. My dreamer’s spirit always helps me to keep working, and until you carry a bag full of dreams. you wont run to catch the bus that takes you to fulfill your destiny.
What is something you think everyone should try at least once in their life? Or name one skill you think everyone should have or learn?
The thing I believe everyone should try in their life is to choose a profession in which they can give 100%. If you don’t choose a job that you are really willing to do, you can never be satisfied. One skill everyone should have is good communication. This is something which will work out in every part of the world. If you can interact, you can do anything.
What is one skill or hobby you’ve been meaning to learn but haven’t had time for?
I always wanted to be a professional photographer. Time isn’t a barrier but gears and locations are. Sometimes you’ve got gears but you won’t find a cool shot and vice-versa.
List 3 simple things in life that make you really happy:
- Peace
- Respect
- Travel
What is the best thing that you have done, just because you were told you can’t?
I have been always told I can’t do anything. And the best thing I have done is keep that spark alive in me which says I can.
What is your favourite coworking space and why?
I am new to coworking spaces but hopefully I will be using them from now on.
If you had the opportunity to spend a week or month in another country to be your office of the week/month, where would you go?
I would love to go to Italy–it’s one on the top in my travel list.
As a Digital Nomad/Entrepreneur. If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you have and why?
I would have my cellphone and a battery charger. And the third and the most important thing I will have is spirit so that I can survive and get out of there. Spirit is the only courage that can help us escape from dangerous situations.
Tell me something you have never told anyone else.
Love is precious but if it goes wrong, it can completely ruin your life.
What was your first job? Has it shaped where you are today?
I never had a job in my life until I left college. I was so inspired by the word ‘entrepreneur’ and I always wanted to generate employment for others. And it’s better to work to fulfill your own dreams rather than get hired to fulfill the dreams of others.
What’s your favorite part about coworking?
Interacting with different people around the country and the world is the best part of coworking. You get to know new ideas and interests of other people and also extends your own reach.
What is your go-to pump up song?
Any song that lights a spark in me.
