I run a micro-agency to provides content creation for health & fitness brands.
What are you working on right now?
I just wrapped photoshoots for Glory Juice and Chomps!
What is your current desktop wallpaper? and why?
It rotates between all the images in my Pictures folder – every time I see an amazing photograph I add it to the folder.
Which book has shaped your life or changed the way you think the most?
Most recently: Be Obsessed or Be Average by Grant Cardone. It’s a huge kick in the ass and explains why being an obsessive entrepreneur is actually a good thing.
How do you start off your day — aka what’s your morning routine?
Two hours at the gym followed by four-six hours of client work. I start my day at 5:30 a.m., so by noon I have my two biggest tasks out of the way.
What is one thing you do to get motivated?
Doing a single task. I shut everything off, hide my phone and go into a tunnel.
What made you smile today?
What is something you think everyone should try at least once in their life? Or Name one skill you think everyone should have or learn?
No matter how creative you are, you need to master Sales and Finances. Those are the lifeblood of your business.
What is one skill or hobby you’ve been meaning to learn but haven’t had time for?
List 3 simple things in life that make you really happy:
A) Getting physically and mentally stronger.
B) Being around inspiring people.
C) Having the freedom to work from anywhere.
What is the best thing that you have done, just because you were told you can’t?
I’ve had the good fortune of being surrounded by incredibly supportive people. Especially my brother who has always encouraged me to chase my dreams.
What is your favorite coworking space and why?
WeWork because they play loud music in the common area which makes the entire vibe more social.
If you had the opportunity to spend a week or month in another country to be your office of the week/month, where would you go?
Hawaii because I have to stay in the Americas for time-zone reasons. Otherwise it would be Tokyo.
Biggest item on your bucket list at the moment?
Road trip from Vancouver to Argentina.
Tell me something that not many people know about you (optional)
While studying graphic design in college, I also played basketball and got my entire education paid for.
What was your first job? Has it shaped where you are today?
Interactive designer – most definitely kicked off my love for digital creative.
Any advice for your previous boss?
You’re doing great, keep it up!
What’s your favorite part about coworking?
I like going in on the weekends to create Youtube video presentations. Coworking offices have much better backgrounds than my apartment.
What is your go-to pump up song?
Runningback by Wale and Lil’ Wayne.
