Coworker, Inc., the leading online marketplace for discovering and booking coworking spaces around the globe, recently announced the opening of its European headquarters.

The opening of Coworker’s European office, which will be located at OneCoWork Catedral in Barcelona, signals a new venture in the company’s trajectory.

Located in the capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, Coworker chose Barcelona as its new EU headquarters because the city is a leading coworking market, host to international talent and a thriving startup scene.

“We felt that Barcelona was the best location for us to establish a new headquarters because the city is witnessing rapid growth, both in the startup arena and for already-established businesses,” said Madison Maidment, COO of Coworker.

OneCoWork Catedral is the Spanish coworking brand’s third location and is home to other great companies, including ClassPass, Booking.com, and Kayak.com.

“Our strategy for growth in the coming months includes plans to centralize support, administration, marketing, and data science under one roof,” said Maidment. “Throughout 2020, we expect to grow our headcount at OneCoWork Catedral to 20 people, which is both motivating and extremely exciting for the Coworker team.”

Coworker officially moved into the office space at OneCoWork Catedral in September 2019.
