Coworking Space: The Garden in Alexandria

The Garden is a co-building community space that caters to small businesses in the DMV area. The driving concept behind the space is the idea that small businesses thrive when given the opportunity to collaborate and draw on the creative energy of a like-minded community. Our relaxed environment promotes a warm, socially interactive, and professional business space while providing members with access to state-of-the art wood, metal, and plastic fabrication workshops. Equipment in each area enables members to produce professional quality products using established industrial equipment and emerging technologies like 3D printing, Laser Cutting, and CNC machining. For those seeking additional training, we also provide machine usage, skill development classes, and access to a wealth of knowledge and experience on all aspects of building a hardware startup.

Like an actual garden, The Garden provides easy access to all of the necessities that small businesses need to grow. We provide a variety of business resources, including office space, conference rooms, mailboxes, package receiving, letter & large format printing, storage, high-speed internet, parking, and private phone booth / nursing room. We also provide access to a wide variety of services – including product design and development, web development, graphic design, marketing, videography and film production, networking & outreach. The Garden features a premier event space, with gorgeous reclaimed wood walls and a rustic / industrial aesthetic. The space is fully customizable for your events and connected to a kitchen, lounge area, and coffee bar.

Membership is offered in 3 tiers: Members can rent an open desk, a dedicated desk, and a private office. The Garden also offers flexible corporate memberships for businesses seeking larger accommodations.

With the Van Dorn metro stop being less than a 5 minute walk away, members are a quick trip from downtown DC. The Garden lies within the Eisenhower area and offers many options for food, materials, and recreation close by. Home Depot, Fedex, are all within a 5-minute drive. Sportrock climbing gym and Scramble indoor playground are right next door!
