" A truly community-oriented space "
The space is great and really driven by the community around it. Everyone working here is super friendly and supportive. Local Works has all the amenities you need to be successful at work.
Tip from user
Workshop is a nearby food hall with awesome restaurants that are just getting started.

"I saved millions on free coffee! "
I went from working at local coffee shops and my apartment kitchen table for a full year before working at Local Works. I was super nervous at first because I thought I would be distracted, wouldn't be able to concentrate, may be too loud on the phone, or may miss the days of having space to myself. Every fear that I had completely went away and I enjoyed being surrounded by a community of entrepreneurs, creatives, my colleagues, and other business professionals that all had their individual identity. Local Works is a space that welcomes everyone rather you are coming in every day in jeans and sneakers or a business suite. Each person represented makes the space and community so unique and I am happy to work here everyday! Plus there is on street parking, nearby restaurants, and close to getting Down Town or North Charleston. Oh and free coffee!

"No more bad days"
I can honestly say, I never have a bad day at work. This space is so welcoming, inviting, and friendly. Everyone respects each other and the atmosphere is one of collaboration and positive reinforcement. It is mutually understood that head phones means 'I'm on a roll' while the kitchen provides the perfect spot to bounce ideas off of one another. I used to work from home and found myself to be dreary and easily distracted. I wouldn't leave my house for a week or more at a time. I would see another human being for days. Now, thanks to Local Works, I am excited to get up and get to work. I have been here for two years now and I can't imagine ever going back to the home office.
