" A hidden gem in the Tapestry district "

I first encountered the team at DoES Liverpool three or four years ago, entirely by accident, as much of the awareness of this amazing co-working space has historically been through word of mouth. DoES - standing for Doing Epic Stuff - has been around in Liverpool for 6 or 7 years and was one of the first tech hub / co-working spaces for the community. It was founded by a few guys who wanted a space for themselves to work and to be comfortable, and a space into which they could invite people from Liverpool, the UK, and further afield. I pitched up, somewhat tremulously, to receive a most friendly greeting from one of the founders, Adrian McEwen, who then proceeded to show me around. I was blown away by the office space, the workshop facilities, and the events room. This was back in the days when DoES was based down Hanover Street by Liverpool Central Station. This year DoES have expanded into some very impressive premises taking the whole of the first floor of the Tapestry Building in the up-and-coming Fabric district. The DoES ethos is to be friendly, accepting, and open to all and it's a wonderful place to work, to pop in to have a coffee, to chat with people about whatever random craft, tech, creative idea you have on your mind or whatever else. There will undoubtedly be somebody who is both interested to engage and has something of value to add. There's a free to all Maker Night on Thursday evenings which is very well attended, a once a month Maker Day on a Saturday, but most importantly you can pop in pretty much any time and receive a warm welcome. Oh and the cake thing - if you want to use the facilities for free for a day to try it all out? Just bring some cake :))

"Great space in up and coming part of the city "

August 2018

DOES offers a variety of spaces and has a warm informal atmosphere. When visited, someone is always quick to show you where the coffee is. The big room is lovely and light and it’s in a really old building, full of character. There’s on street parking, free after 6pm and is 5 mins from Liverpool Lime Street train station. Shops close by if you need to nip out for lunch or some fresh air, and interesting graffiti art in the area. Great WiFi, good coffee, fab conversation- what more can you ask for? It’s my favourite co-working space in Liverpool.

"Great space to work, fantastic facilities and friendly people"

August 2018

DoES Liverpool has a few different areas that are great to work in, the "main space" is more active, you can choose to sit amongst the workshop equipment, or near the 3D printers, or alternatively you can move into the quieter room if you want to focus and concentrate. There's couches near the kitchen if you want to relax and a nice comfy meeting nook for taking calls in and a few meeting rooms if you have clients coming in. Wi-Fi and internet connection is some of the best in the city and wired connections are available throughout. About the only place in the city that you can walk in and be using a laser cutter within hours! Plenty of standard office equipment and stationery available to if you need it.

3 Thank John
