Coworking Space: Generator Hub in Exeter

Great spot, right on the Quay. Great facilities, with meeting rooms always available and a great community. Moving here, after a few years working at home, was the best work choice that I have made.

It's a useful, friendly, well located space that means you can work efficiently but have great company too.

Great location on the waterfront at Exeter's most popular tourist attraction and surrounded by good bars and eateries as well as great walks along the river or canal. Just five minutes walk from the city centre and near to cheap car parking. The Generator is located on the traffic-free Exe cycle trail so many people cycle to work. Never had a problem with wi-fi, despite 30 or so people all using it. Good social life with communal eating at lunchtime and regular off-site social activities. Wide age group and skills base with some very smart people at the top of their game and great networking and cross-fertilisation of projects. Liz and Neil, the owners, make you feel welcome and valued from day-one and everyone is approachable – no-one remains a wallflower for long!

Friends, fun, cakes, chats, beers, inspiration, comforts, relaxation, casual, smart, relaxed, happy... this place was not initiated to be a cowork space, it simply evolved and grew organically through its cowork journey. The community here is strong and many members cannot imagine being anywhere else. We are proud to be a part of it.

All amazing people in a brilliant space. Everyone is very social, meeting rooms are easy to book and the atmosphere is wildly positive.

The Generator is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful and their community is very welcoming. The space is great to work in and I always get a lot of work done.
