" The First and Best Coworking Space in Chiang Mai - Where it all started! "
I started coming to PunSpace - Nimman two years ago when they first opened and was the first coworking space in Chiang Mai. Through there I've met a ton of great friends, business contacts and guests for my podcast, Travel Like a Boss. I continue to go there and pay for their monthly membership out of pocket even though I've been offered free memberships at other spaces and the fact that there is now free places like cafes and CAMP at Maya. My pro tips for getting the most out of PunSpace Nimman. 1. Get a monthly or at least weekly membership. Unless you are lucky or have great timing, you can't expect to meet tons of great people just by popping by on a day pass. 2. Ask people if they are hungry. Usually around 10am and then again for lunch around 12:30, people need a break from work and it's a great way to meet others by walking somewhere together and grabbing a quick bite. 3. The Nimman location is much more social (currently) than the Thae-pae gate location partially due to the layout, but also the type of nomads it attracts. Nimman has more entrepreneurs while Thae-pae currently has more programmers but that could change.
Tip from user
Punspace nimman is located the best location for digital nomads, period.

"Good People. Good Space."
I worked at Punspace shortly after it's opening several years ago (I think it was 2013 or 2014). I learned of it because the co-owner Euam was a recent acquaintance of mine. Along with her husband she gave the space a very welcoming vibe, and helped me settle in. Located on a relatively quiet street in the center of Chiang Mai, the space itself is small, which for me was a draw. I knew many of the people there, and it never felt like one of those huge open floor work spaces that you get lost in. One side of the space is all windows, letting plenty of natural sunlight in. The aesthetic is clean, modern, with a touches of wood which give it a touch of warmth. I never rented an office, just open desk space. Which means I just took whatever was available. So for me it felt like a modern coffee shop, though more quiet, with regular faces and solid wi-fi. I haven't been to the space in about 2 years, so I can't speak for what changes or updates they've made in that time. But if I'm in Chiang Mai again I'll definitely use the space!
"Great place in Chiang Mai to escape and get work done"
This is a great place off of Nimmanhaemin road in Chiang Mai to get work done. The people there are great and there are small private offices in case you want to completely isolate yourself from the others. It was pretty rare, but it would get a little loud. I met a handful of people doing very interesting work that I could learn from and then teach where my strengths were. Punspace is very clean and the owners are very friendly and helpful. It's definitely worth checking out! They don't have ping pong tables and all the "Silicon Valley" amenities but I would definitely recommend Punspace as my favorite place in Chiang Mai to work at.
