Las Palmas, Spain
" Great location and lots of events "
Las Palmas seems to have a really active digital nomad scene and ReStation is one of the best co-working spaces in the city if you're looking to network with other digital nomads or just find some interesting people to hang out with. There's a free networking breakfast every Wednesday, Lunch on Fridays and of course, Tapas night on Thursday in the old town (drinks and a beer for 2 EUR!). The co-working space is right by Las Canteras and has a relaxed friendly vibe. Wifi is great and there's also a soundproof booth to make Skype calls if you need to.
Tip from user
La Tasca Galileo is a great tapas bar nearby. Get there early as it gets busy!

"Unbeatable community in Las Palmas"
Restation makes it easy to adjust to the island life in Gran Canaria. Having stayed in both the co-living space and worked at the co-working space, it's a cost-effective and uncomplicated way to hit the ground running in Las Palmas. Maria and Myriam are amazing hosts -- super hospitable and willing to help with anything and everything. I never had problems with the WiFi, and there was always enough seating, even at peak times. The best part of the experience is the community that Maria and the restation team cultivate. I enjoyed the variety of weekly networking, causal and professional events. The location is unbeatable - only a few blocks from the beach, a variety of grocery stores and plenty of tasty restaurant and bars to choose from.
"A cozy, friendly, welcoming, community focused space in the center of Las Palmas"
What more can you ask for? When I arrived in Las Palmas I visited a few of the coworking spaces in the city. Restation was the only one where I felt welcomed with open arms. Myriam and Maria are awesome at hosting and organizing events and are clear on what the "co" in coworking stands for: community. Anyone can rent a space, buy tables, ergonomic chairs, screens, printers, an internet connection, a sofa and a couple of bean bags. Only those who truly understand that coworking is all about making people feel that they belong to a group of like minded individuals (aka a "tribe", as we call it here) deserve to call their space a Coworking Space. And I feel Restation deserves the name (yes, with capital C and capital S).
