" great space, warm atmosphere and community spirit "

The cost is very competitive especially for the monthly hot-desk plan. It is an open plan office with plenty of quiet corners and meeting room spaces. Miki and Zoey are very dedicated and organise regular activities like hackatons and conferences with local and regional companies. The space is open 24 hrs and offers a great wifi connection. Day and night, if you are working US or European timezones. It's in a very central location. The other members were a friendly community of local remote workers, with a good mix of ever-returning expats, programmers, designers, digital marketers. Group lunch (a.k.a. business lunch) was a recurring 'event'. And the great thing, there's loads of very nice and varied food stalls a block away, nice Chinese and Indian eateries across the road. Going back very soon! If only monthly accommodations were more easily available.

Tip from user

A strong espresso bar in the next block that also sells postcards. Little India food stalls are just one minute walk away.

January 2019

Coworking spaces are everywhere in the cities, but what make Acat different from the other coworking spaces is the elite community team are really putting efforts to connect the coworkers to others and constantly feeding great and useful knowledges to the coworkers and people on Penang. Acat constantly engage the successful entrepreneurs from different part of the worlds to provide important values and knowledges in the spaces that benefit to the coworkers, and events are open to public too! A great environment and supportive community are important to produces successful startups and businesses, and Acat fulfilled these 2 core elements. These are the reasons why so many successful entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups and SMEs come from Acat.

"ACAT: A place for Affordable, Creative, Acknowledged, Talents"

January 2019

ACAT is an amazing space for freelancers, start-ups, etc. The community is equipped with loads of resources in terms of very diverse talents. You can find people with almost any skill set here. Technology, design, education, content, etc. Drop by anytime even if only to just say Hi. People here are friendly and everyone is welcome at ACAT. I have been renting a space in ACAT since May 2018. There were some issues with the WIFI towards the end of 2018, which the administrators have resolved in January 2019. All in all, this is a great starting point for businesses and freelancers alike. Hope to see you here.
