" Started twice from here "

Arrived 4 years ago in Berlin and selected at the time The Rainmaking Loft as the start place for a company I was bringing from the US. Made great connections there that ended up generating great business for the company. After 2 years, we moved out as the team got too big. After leaving that company I came back to start another one from The Place. The culture and mentoring program are top notch. I also enjoy the weekly breakfast which are creating a nice community atmosphere and a sense of belonging and openness. Last but not least, this is not a corporate office style co-working space. This is real startup environment!

"Been there for a couple of weeks, good place"

November 2018

The place is a little bit different from the many co-working spaces in this area as it has a clear focus on which kind of companys they want. Rent is on the cheap side. Excellent Wi-Fi (100Mbit+ *upload*), free coffee and plenty of space. Good Networking, good Mentor programm and still it is a good place to actually work instead of drinking beer and complain about long office hours.. Thery also hold public events like short movie nights, pitch events etc.. and private events like network breakfasts, ping pong tournaments and stuff like that. We will definitly stay here for a while.

"Sweet spot to start in Berlin"

November 2018

Cool vibe- relaxed atmosphere, nice people. They often organize interesting events (FuckUp Night!). It's only startups which seems cool, always someone to ask for help etc. So if you're a founder I'd recommend it. The location is convenient, the U6 subway is close. Rocket Internet is next door. There's a supermarket, bike racks and a lot of restaurants. The other founders often prepare their own food in the kitchen. The Ping Pong table is popular. Sometimes people bring their dogs, which is not everyone's cup of tea... but usually it's not loud or anything so, all in all a nice place.
